- Only dual-band routers support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, emitting two separate WiFi signals. Mixed-frequency or single-band routers do not support this feature.
- Most router brands come with two default WiFi names, such as “xxxx” and “xxxx-5G”, with the former typically being the 2.4GHz WiFi network.
